Smart Agriculture System

The solar powered unit that stands in your field. It reads ten soil and weather values every hour, sends them over LoRa, and can run the irrigation and fertigation itself.

Learn by seeing

One sensor, pushed
into the soil.

This is the demonstration we run again and again, because it explains the whole system in about two minutes.

The sensor goes in.

A steel probe, pushed into the root zone. Nothing has happened yet.

Step 02

Five values appear.

Moisture, temperature, pH, EC and NPK. This is the moment most rooms go quiet.

Step 03

The reading travels.

LoRa carries it across the farm with no WiFi and no data cable.

Step 04

The dashboard changes.

On the screen at the front of the room, the number moves. That is the part people remember.

Step 05

Then: what does it mean?

A number is not an answer. We spend the rest of the session on that question.

Lightning protection

Malaysia is one of the most lightning struck countries on earth.

More than 200 strikes per square kilometre every year. One nearby strike can take out the controller, the sensors and the pump together. That is why protection is part of every JPIoT installation rather than an extra.

Surge protection device
An SPD on the incoming power and on the data lines, so a surge is diverted to earth before it reaches the controller.
Earthing system
Proper earthing installed with it, because surge protection without a good earth does nothing.
Auto ELCB
A normal ELCB trips and someone has to drive out to the farm to switch it back on. Ours comes back on after 10 seconds, so the pump and the system keep running.
Why it matters
No downtime means the irrigation does not stop, the data is not lost, and you are not paying to replace burnt electronics.

How it is powered and connected.

Power
Built-in solar panel with battery storage. It does not wait on the grid.
Connectivity
Long range, low power LoRa, up to 5km in rural areas. No farm wifi needed.
Weather station
Wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, rainfall, light, air pressure, CO2 and ozone.
Soil sensor
Moisture, temperature, pH, EC and NPK, taken from the root zone itself.
Weight sensor
A load cell under the pot gives the plant's real weight, so you see growth and water uptake day by day.
Alerts
Notifications by WhatsApp and Telegram, not only inside an app.
Readings
Ten soil and weather values, recorded hourly all year.

Automatic irrigation and fertigation, or manual from your phone.
