Option A

Mixing tank fertigation.

Fertiliser A, fertiliser B and pH are blended in a central tank first, so what reaches the plants is already correct and identical across every zone. This is the build for large, multi zone farms.

  1. 01Water enters the mixing tank.
  2. 02The system reads EC, pH, level and temperature.
  3. 03Dosing pumps inject fertiliser A, fertiliser B and pH up or down.
  4. 04The controller keeps dosing until EC and pH hit target.
  5. 05The mixed feed goes out to the plants.

A real example: the 600 gallon tank

A 600 gallon poly tank rig reaches a target EC of 3.0 quickly. Ten minutes to fill, four to dose and mix. After that it is ready for the polybags.

Option B

Injector fertigation.

No mixing tank at all. Fertiliser and pH go straight into the pipeline and are corrected as the water moves, which makes the response much faster and the footprint much smaller.

  1. 01Clean water flows from the main tank.
  2. 02Dosing pumps inject fertiliser A, B, pH up and pH down.
  3. 03The mix passes through a static mixer.
  4. 04Inline sensors read EC, pH and pressure.
  5. 05The controller trims pump speed on the fly.
  6. 06The finished feed reaches the plants.

Recommended alongside

Both builds live outdoors, exposed to rain, wind and heat swings. Paired with the weather station, JPIoT postpones irrigation ahead of rain and compensates dosing when the temperature drifts.

At plantation scale

For open field work the system extends with a solar water pump at 3HP or 5HP drawing from a river or canal through a screen filter and sand filtration, filling the main tank before dosing. It is usually paired with 16mm drip tape for fruit, vegetable or plantation crops.
